Creamfields tickets go on sale this Friday (3 April) with the first 5000 tickets being sold at a crunch busting £100.   The legendary northern dance festival is responding to the current financial climate by putting the first 5000 camping and weekend tickets on sale at a reduced rate.   Day tickets have also been frozen at 2008 prices and hospitality tickets have dropped as much as £25.  Creamfields CEO James Barton says: “We’re in the midst of a recession with most people having to tighten their belts, so we’ve made the first 5000 tickets as cheap as we possibly can. I hope this goes a little way to easing the cash burden for the people who have been there for us through thick and thin.  On a first come first serve basis, it will be our most dedicated fans who will benefit.”

Pete Tong will be exclusively announcing this year’s Creamfields line up on BBC Radio 1 from 7pm on Friday 3rd April so tune into bbc.co.uk/radio1

If you still think that even £100 tickets are a bit steep but you’re desperate to go to Creamfields, why not wait to see if there’s a CREAMFIELDS TICKET COMPETITION amongst all the other brilliant FESTIVAL TICKET COMPETITIONS IN THE APRIL ISSUE OF 247 MAGAZINE, which is out later this week?!
