Wherever you are in the world, one thing’s for sure – you’re never far from a faux Irish bar. Some can be hit and miss but head into O’Neills and you know you can get a decent pint of the blackstuff and some delicious sausages and Colcannon. And if you only go once a year make sure it’s on St Patrick’s Day (March 17). St Patrick’s Day also sees the official launch of three new Irish pubs in the region in the shape of a brand new Molloy’s pubs in Bristol, Bath and Bridgend, South Wales. Molloy’s, which is part of the Stonegate Pub Company, handpicked these three locations, along with five others across the country to launch in.Vince Williams, Operations Director at Stonegate Pub Company said: “We’re delighted to introduce a taste of traditional Irish hospitality at Molloy’s in Bristol, Bath and Bridgend which will combine the legendary welcome and entertainment that’s become synonymous with the Emerald Isle. We’ll be offering value for money deals across both our food and drink menus and have created the Flavours of Ireland all-day offer, a menu that showcases the very best in authentic Irish fare with dishes costing just £2.99. The menu includes Irish stew, traditional Irish pork sausages served with colcannon mash and the Irish beef burger with cheese and bacon, served with chips. Then on our core menu customers can choose to try our Guinness battered fish and chips or a nice Irish steak grilled to their preference, amongst many other dishes.”
