One of Bristol’s best nightclubs, Motion, has announced details of its kick ass Autumn programme – which includes some of the most exciting DJs and acts on the UK music scene.

The now annual In:Motion series of events opens its doors to some top notch DJ names, including Annie Mac (who wowed crowds at Bristol We The People festival earlier this year) and local legend Danny Byrd as well as some more indie electro flavoured acts, including Jamie Woon and Washed Out. The series has been put together in collaboration with some well-known promoters and labels including Bloc and Hospitality.

Thinks kick off with In:Motion on the weekend of Friday October 7 and Saturday October 8. Friday night sees Cardiff-based label Hospitality take over a Motion – with sets from Camo & Krooked, High Contrast, Danny Byrd and Netsky plus more in other rooms. Acts confirmed for the Bugged Out event on the Saturday include Jamie Jones, L0Vis 1990 & The Neon Dream and Fake Blood, who has remixed Hot Chip, UNKLE and Underworld, among others.

Friday October 14’s offerings centre around the popular Shit The Bed nights and feature Ms Dynamite, Caspa and Redlight, among others. Saturday October 15 sees an In:Motion debut from Hessle Audio with the award-winning Jamie XX (From the band The XX) and they much-hyped Jamie Woon.

Friday October 21 is all about Blow Pop. They’ve secured the world-renowned mix master DJ Yoda as well as old skool hip hop troupe Ugly Duckling, Krafty Kuts and more. Saturday is FWD: Rinse and features Zinc, Plastician and Ez, among others.

Friday October 28 the sounds go global with Tokyo Dub bringing Mungo’s High Fi, Jahtari & Zoom T and Young Warrior to In:Motion. Of course, with Halloween just around the corner, In:Motion on Saturday October 29 will be halloween themed with epic fancy dress efforts expected. The Just Jack event will be raising money for War Child and will feature Tale Of Us, Shaun Reeves and Soulclap, among others.

Friday November 4 welcomes possibly the world’s best female DJ Annie Mac, alongside Toddla T & Serocee and Emalkay plus more. After the success of last year’s Gunpowder Plot at Motion, the massive fireworks party is back. As are Bristol jazz funksters Smerin’s Anti Social Club and festival favourites Babyhead as well as the awesome Cheeba.

Rusko, Andy C, Scratch Perverts and Grooverider bring the party to Motion on Friday November 11 with a special Field Day presents the following night, on Saturday November 11. It is here you will catch some of the most exciting up and coming indie acts of the moment, including Washed Out, Friendly Fires and Jon Hopkins. You can also dance the night away to tunes from former London Trash DJ Erol Alkan.

Friday November 18 is Pete Tong time with the top UK DJ joined by the stylish singer Calvin Harris and Eats Everything. The following night, In:Motion is remaining tight lipped about – billing it only as a secret party, but judging by the rest of the line-up it’s a safe bet that we can expect some more amazing acts.

Bloc have stepped in to end November with a bang with the likes of Bristol’s own Joker, Martyn and 2562 taking to the decks at In:Motion on Friday November 25. Saturday November 26 is hosted by RBMA and another awesome Bristol label Futureboogie and features Julio Bashmore, Bonobo and Horse Meat Disco.

The countdown to Christmas begins with Hardcore Heaven on Friday December 2. Darren Styles, Gamma, Evil Activities, DJ Sy and some. With Shit The Bed taking over In:Motion on Saturday December 3 again. Full line up TBC. The inspirational Beardyman headlines happenings on Friday December 9 with Stanton Warriors and Tayo in tow. And on Saturday December 10, Cocoon, Dyed Soundorom and Kyle Hall headline. And that’s the final weekend of In:Motion (not counting the legendary NYE party on December 31). Phew.

A spokesman for Motion dubbed In:Motion ‘A series of incredible events striking hot on the heels of last year’s triumphant first season’. They said: “2011 brings artists from all musical persuasions capturing everyone from the heroes of the scene to the rising stars and bringing all manner of brands from the electronic music community together to embrace all dimensions of the underground dance movement.”
