NEW SILENT HOBO EXHIBITION AT BRISTOL’S KING OF PAINT

Decrease Font Size Increase Font Size Text Size Print This Page

Silent Hobo has been painting walls in Bristol for sometime now with his Graffiti and Illustration skills taking him around much of the UK and Europe. He has been commissioned to paint large scale murals by Councils in Bristol, Belfast, Essex and Norfolk and used his Illustration style for Coca cola, Hotwheels, Levis and the Olympics 2012.

In 2011 and 2012, Google has worked the talent of Silent hobo commissioning the artist to paint in Dublin for the ʻSummit Against Violent Extremismʼ (with Cheo) and in Barcelona (with Sepr & Mr Riks) for the Google VIP party at the Mobile World Congress. His work is now being displayed at their Head Offices in Washington and New York.

Closer to home Silent Hobo was stoked to be part of the ʻCrimes of Passionʼ show at the RWA, ʻSee no Evilʼ and to be representing Brisfest last year with the promotional imagery leading up to the Festival.

ʻPixelatedʼ is his first solo show for a couple of years and features a large scale 3d lenticular piece that was created as part of a Media HotHouse residency. The feel of the artwork displayed will represent collective memories timelessly captured, illustrated and pixelated, definitely one to pop in and see.

It starts at King of Paint on June 1. More info at www.silenthobo.co.uk
