The Relentless Energy Drink Boardmasters has introduced a park and ride system to help combat congestion issues in Newquay, Cornwall during the event. The event which kicks off on Wednesday 8 August attracts a hugely inflated number of people to the town over the period of the event and often results in traffic jams throuhtout the town. While the increased visitor number brings much needed tourism to the community the traffic can be problematic, hence the new park and ride system should take huge strides in reducing this congestion.

It’s as simple as parking in the field, buying your ticket to get on the bus and traveling to your destination!

The Park & Ride system will be running Monday 6th August to Monday 13th August. For directions to Park and Ride Field follow the AA signs for ‘Boardmasters Surf P+Ride’
