CRAZY ARM SIGN TO XTRA MILE
Plymouth hard twang, punk rock quartet, Crazy Arm, have struck up a deal with London independent label, Xtra Mile Records (home to the likes of Frank Turner, Reuben and Xcerts) to release the band’s debut album ‘Born To Ruin’. Scheduled for release in late May / early June, the album was recorded by Peter Miles (King Blues, Sonic Boom Six, Failsafe) at Holne Bridge Studios in Ashburton. A single – live favourite ‘Broken By The Wheel’ – will precede the album release, backed by the previously unavailable ‘British Steel’. It will be available on limited edition 7″ beige-coloured vinyl through Seven Inch Records, and digitally via Xtra Mile. The band head out on a UK tour this month with Falmouth-based melodic punks, Bangers. You can catch them at three South West dates: Nancys, Falmouth on 13 Mar, the Croft, Bristol on 26 Mar; and White Rabbit, Plymouth on 27 Mar. They will also plan to tour extensively when the album is released, as well as some high profile support slots throughout April, including playing with Propagandhi in Brighton on 20 April.
