2017 sees the return of Cornwall’s Ukulele Festival, back and even bigger than last year’s successful first ever event. Organised by West Cornwall’s own Dancing Flea Orchestra, the festival will be held at Heartlands, Pool, on Sunday, February 5, 2017, where hundreds of ukulele enthusiasts are expected to tune-up and fill the air with music.

From 1pm there will be jam sessions, open mic. slots , film shows, workshops and even advice and repair sessions. Local ukulele bands will be playing throughout the afternoon and then in the evening there will be a grand concert with the great ukulele and banjo player and singer Andy Eastwood who will also be supported by the ‘uke n roll’ trio ‘The Ukeabillies’ from Plymouth.

The day event is free as is the parking and the evening concert is just £10, so if you’re a fan of this Hawaiian instrument and would like to come along and take part or just be serenaded in the sounds of the day, then come on down.

Tickets can be purchased at The Cornwall Riviera Box Office online at www.crbo.co.uk or by calling 01726 879500
