TOMMY REILLY TOUR HITS SW
Since being crowned the winner of Channel 4’s Orange Unsigned Act earlier this year, 19 year old singer songwriter Tommy Reilly has been living the dream! Well, actually, it sounds like his life is less sex, drugs and rock ‘n’ roll, and more studying at music college and working part time, whilst gigging around his hometown of Glasgow… But now, schools out and he’s embarking on a UK tour, with a few dates in the South West (see below). Tommy wowed judges on the Channel 4 show and was consistently praised for his songwriting abilities. As part of his prize, Tommy has won a record deal with Universal Music’s A&M Records, home to multi-platinum selling artist Duffy and indie champions The Courteeners.
His song, ‘Gimme A Call’, entered the midweek charts at number 11 on downloads alone after he won the show in January, and with the finishing touches put to his debut album just this week, it looks like this summer could be a big one for Tommy Reilly.
