WITH LOVE FROM HUMANS ON BBC6 INTRODUCING!
If you’ve seen the May issue of 247 West and Wales, you’ll have read about the students on the Commercial Music degree course at Bath Spa. These bright young things are working hard towards not only a degree, but a career in the music industry, studying on a course that covers everything from songwriting to music production and even the legal side of the music biz. In an exciting update to the article, two of our featured bands have both been picked up by BBC6 Music’s Introducing show, with Tom Robinson. Tom’s show profiles the freshest new talent in music and he chose to interview Fighting Fiction (broadcast on 4 May) and With Love From Humans (to be broadcast on 10 May). We caught up with Leo Howe from With Love From Humans for a quick update…
How did 6Music get in touch with you – where did they hear about you?
Our friend Jacob from the band Fighting Fiction recommended our track Bottle It Up to the Tom Robinson Introducing show on BBC6. Tom listened to our track several times and played it live on the show on 26 April. He also praised the track, saying, “I just love that! Every time I’ve played it it’s made my heart leap with joy. What a wonderful record.”
