05141153180_bbc_final_1loAwesome indie rock four-piece Bombay Bicycle Club are currently in the middle of a summer of festival gigs and UK tour dates.  Fresh from playing Glasto, and with their record I Had The Blues But Shook Them Loose currently featured on Radio 1 as album of the week, the band are doing pretty well.  They’ve decided to play four very special gigs at selected venues across the country as part of their mini Tour For Lulu, and luckily for us, they’ve chosen Morwellham Quay near Tavistock for a special free gig tomorrow night (3 July 2009).

You might remember Morwellham Quay from your school days (it’s a museum and visitor centre based around a historic port and mine on the River Tamar in the heart of the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site and Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty…)  The band will be playing at 6pm ether on the Garlandstone, up in the mushrooms on the farm or one of their other special locations.  Make sure you’re down at the Quay before 6pm so you don’t miss their set.

Check out the facebook event for more details and don’t miss this unique opportunity to catch one of the UK’s biggest up and coming bands in an unusual local setting for FREE!
