MY HEROES KILLED COWBOYS BRING STREETLIFE DJS TO SOUTH WEST
For their second party of summer 2009, My Heroes Killed Cowboys are asking you to prepare for one of the best and most entertaining DJ sets you’ve ever heard as they host another Westcountry debut, this time from the worlds coolest record label – Kitsune, Paris. The STREETLIFE DJs are a duo with over 30 years turntable experience between them. A blatant disregard for sticking to musical genres and some supernatural talent has led to them being praised by every credible bigwig in the dance music industry. They mix old funk and disco records with the latest blood curdling electro, filthy techno and house bangers with devastating effect. They’ve played headline slots around the globe, educating, entertaining and smashing dancefloors wherever they go, as well as being responsible for some of the best Radio 1 essential mixes the station has ever broadcast. They’re described as the UKs very own 2ManyDJs and just as good. Reckon thats a big call? Come and see for yourself: myspace.com/sldjs
They will be joined by MHKC regulars, the amazing Jac The Disco, who are currently smashing the London club scene as well as local legend Dave Spenceley of Sir Vinyl and Get Waxy who entertained the nocturnal party animals at this years Glastonbury. This all takes place at St Ives’ born again nightspot Isobar Is Dead on Sat 22 August. See myheroeskilledcowboys.co.uk for more details and tickets.
