ROSIE AND THE GOLDBUG ANNOUNCE BAND SPLIT
Rosie and the Goldbug announced today that the band would no longer continue to perform. In a message to their fans on Facebook this afternoon, the band said that, “[they] are very sad about this but can no longer continue with the band.” They dont got into detail about the particulars of the band putting a halt to their career, although they encourage fans to not buy their album… Over the last two years the Cornish threesome have won over fans and critics with their energetic performances, with singer Rosie Vanier being compared to Kate Bush (with more attitude).

We are very sad to announce that Rosie And The Goldbug are over. The three of us are very sad about this but can no longer continue with the band. We would love to explain and tell you all of the details but we can’t.
So lets leave it on a happy note. We want you to know that we incredibly grateful for all of the support you have given us for the last two years.
Please don’t buy the album. Steal it, burn it, rip and fucking ENJOY IT!

So we bid a sad farewell to the band and hope to see Rosie, Pixie and Plums stomping around the music scene again soon!
