img_3260alt1Exciting new music events are planned at the historic Morwellham Quay site near Tavistock after the venue successfully hosting an intimate gig in July where Bombay Bicycle Club performed as part of one of their mini tours.  Morwellham Quay is set to showcase more acts as part of QuaySide Live.  The launch of QuaySide Live will take place this Saturday (29 August) in an old barn that once shipped manganese and arsenic from the Tamar Valley to the world.  Performers include Adam Isaac, Leigh Coleman and Rory Gilmore.

Adam Isaac’s energy and charisma on stage is being backed by an amazing session band that will set the barn alive.  This year Adam has supported Joss Stone and Sandi Thom on tour and has recently been producing an album under contract at Mama Stones Music Academy.  His voice has been compared to James Morrison so expect some soulful crooning when special guest artist, Leigh Coleman performs – he’s also just about to support Joss Stone at Mama Stones on 6 September.  Support will come from local lad Rory Gilmore who under contract with Pigeon Hole Productions will open this new music event with the style and passion of a true king. Doors open at 7.30pm
