Kate Walsh’s Penzance show cancelled
Due to low advance tickets, the Kate Walsh show at the Acorn Theatre this Saturday 3rd Oct has been cancelled.
Katy Thomas from SW1 Productions, local promoters for the show says:-
“ The preshow ticket sales were so disappointing and were showing no sign of improving. We didn’t want Kate making the trip down to Cornwall to play in front of only a handful of people. This is definitely a worrying time for promoters, fans are leaving it until the last minute to purchase tickets, leaving promoters with much higher risks on shows, this is repeated up and down the country but the South West seems to be hit hardest by this trend”.
SW1 hope to bring Kate Walsh back to Cornwall in 2010.
