DUB PISTOLS LIVE TOUR

DP_R&C_8PPB1.inddThe Dub Pistols were formed in 1996 by Barry Ashworth and Jason O’Bryan in the midst of the chaos and creative energy spawned by the Heavenly Social big beat scene. They have become renowned for scoring collaborations and remixes with some of the top names in music, from Terry Hall of the Specials, to current queen of pop Lily Allen, via Moby, Ian Brown, Rodney P and Lindy Layton (remember ‘Dub Be Good To Me’?), not forgetting their work with reggae legend Gregory Isaacs – an impressive cast in anyone’s book.

With influences including hip hop, ska, dub, break beat and reggae, their fourth album Rum & Coke (released on 25 May) continues the tradition of quality creative partnerships in what is being hailed as their most assured and commercial material yet, whilst retaining a firm hold on the humour, danger and mania of their previous songs.
