Joint D’n’B hits Exeter this Friday
One of the South West’s most successful nights returns to the Lemon Grove Exeter on Oct 9th and this one is heading for another sell out night.
JOINT see’s Exeter’s longest running club night Beatz & Beatz team up with the South West’s most popular drum and bass night Rinseout. Two of the biggest names in the music business are headlining; DJ Friction, has been at the top of the tree for many years and more recently known for his hugely successful label “Shogun Audio” Radio 1s Grooverider needs no introduction, his Friday night Show is listened to by millions weekly.
Supporting acts will be Rinseout`s residents Mr Nice & Maxxi P, with DJ Premise from Truro returning after winning “Best Breakthrough DJ” at South West Drum & Bass Awards.

The Breaks / Bass Room see’s the return of two outstanding DJ Producers Meat Katie and Elite Force flying the flag for their labels Lot49 and U&A Meat Katie is the producer and DJ Mark Pember and is a former member of the act ‘Ceasefire’ on Wall of Sound with Jason O’Bryan & Derek Dahlarge. He has held DJ residencies at Sonic Mook experiment (Scala) & Bedrock (Heaven), as well playing regularly at Mass, Fabric and various other UK venues plus having a heavy European schedule including Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium & Germany. Simon Shackleton’s Elite Force project began way back in 1996, debuting on his own newly founded Fused and Bruised label with a series of peerless 12s and remixes. Following several years with Whole9Yards and Moonshine he became a mainstay recording artist for Adrift Recordings
(formally known as Kingsize Records) before moving on to set up his own hugely successful U&A imprint. They are joined for a first time visit to Exeter from Dylan Rhymes, a producer / DJ that regularly works with both Meat Katie and Elite Force. The guests are supported by Residents Ben & Lex
