RED BULL GET PISTE IN THE PARK!
Get down to Brandon Hill in Bristol on 10 December 2009 for the Red Bull Piste in the Park event where a huge ski jump will be constructed for competitors to battle it out for cash prizes. With DJs at the event and a banging afterparty planned, the huge crowd of spectators can expect an exciting atmosphere and plenty of high octane displays from talented skiers and snowboarders!
The competition format will involve 16 riders competing for cash prizes. The riders meeting is at 5.30pm, with training until 6pm. The ‘best trick’ contest has £150 cash giveaways up for grabs, which will be followed by a knockout competition (until 9pm), where first place gets £200, second place gets £100, third gets £75 and fourth place wins £50.
There are a few competitor spots still available, and any riders who are interested need to submit some footage to prove their worth. The comps will pit skiers and snowboarders against each other rather than keeping them in separate competitions, which should keep momentum up and provide a great show for spectators. It is free for spectators.
