My Heroes Killed Cowboys have been causing quite a stir this year, bringing a London standard club night to Cornish crowds, and on 19 December they will celebrate their first birthday at Isobar is Dead in St Ives. Over the past year, MHKC have hosted South West debuts from some of the hottest DJs out there, including Radio 1s Jaymo & Andy George, Kitsune’s Streetlife DJs and Palms Out/Potty Mouth stars Urchins.
For MHKC’s first birthday party, residents Jac The Disco will be joined by hands down one of the hottest and most exciting new DJs on the planet – his name is Foamo and if you ask anyone worth their salt in the dance music industry what they think of him, the most common answer is, “He just smashes it!!” He was touted as one to watch in 2009 and they weren’t wrong. He’s played headline slots around the globe and produced some of the year’s biggest remixes, so he will indeed smash it for MHKC. Also on the bill are local St Ives hellman Timbo Symons whilst downstairs at Isobar is Dead is hosted by Debbie Deluxe and friends of Disco Riot Romance fame.
