US rockers, RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE (RATM) have just announced they are going to be playing a HUGE free concert in the UK something during 2010 to celebrate the victory of their single “KILLING IN THE NAME” becoming the new number one in Christmas Week, defeating the single from the X-Factor winner, John McElderry in this historic grassroots campaign!
The unprecedented grassroots movement, started by John Morter and his wife on Facebook attracted just under 1 million group members and mobilised people to topple the X-Factor Xmas monopoly, selling over 500,000 digital single downloads to successfully make Rage number one.

RATM will return to UK shores sometime in 2010 for a massive “thank you” gig. And get this…Rage have vowed to invite 2nd Place finisher, X-Factor empressario Simon Cowell, to MC the show! Said Rage guitarist Tom Morello late Friday night: “If “Killing in the Name” is number one WE ARE COMING. And it will be the victory party to end all victory parties.”
