TELLTALES: A NIGHT OF TALK AND TALES IN FALMOUTH

Decrease Font Size Increase Font Size Text Size Print This Page

Spoken word night Telltales is back on 26 January at the Falmouth Townhouse for another night of talk and tales. The theme for this month’s night is Underbelly – so think hidden emotions, the darker side of life, secrets, conspiracies, udders and anything else that ‘underbelly’ conjures up.

They’ve had a load of great submissions already but are still looking for more, so if you are interested in reading out please log on to their website www.wordslikepictures.com/telltales and upload your work. They’ll take a look and get back to you, letting you know if you have been successfully programmed.

And remember, if you have something that isn’t on theme but that you would like to read out any way feel free to submit it, if it feels right for the night they’ll be happy to programme it.

Doors open at 7pm and readings kick off from 7.30pm and the lovely Townhouse have a splendid drinks menu and week night promotions so it might be worth getting there a little early to make the most of it!

Regular Telltales performer, Mac Dunlop is back for this month’s Telltales with more musings as he reflects on a single word, and what a single word can inspire on the 26 January. And if you can’t make it, you can tune in to Source FM (96.1fm) or Resonance FM, at some time in the near future to hear what he recorded coming at you over the airwaves.
