ALBENAZA IN THE ALPS
Rock/acoustic three-man band AlBenAza, (aka Alex Jones, Ben Hall and Aza (Aaron) Douglas), have just teamed up with skate/surf/snow brand Santa Cruz Europe and recently took their awesome brand of live music mixed with beatboxing and DJing on their fourth epic winter tour across the Alps.
The tour will be filmed for a Santa Cruz documentary featuring snow action as well as their music. Santa Cruz have been getting involved with the surf and music scene in Newquay recently and have signed surfing legend Russell Winter as welll as sponsoring Belushis bar/hostel, bringing great parties and events to the area.
The local lads, who hail from Newquay/Plymouth, started playing music about five years ago, and their sets have become the stuff of local legend, as did their acoustic hip hop cover of Jurassic 5’s Concrete Schoolyard. The band now have a new album ready to release called World Falls Down, which was recorded at Cornwall’s Sawmills Studio. See www.albenaza.com for more info.
