BOARDMASTERS 2010: Seasick Steve and Newton Faulkner announced!
Two heavyweight music acts have just announced that they will be joining Leftfield (who will play Saturday 7 August) on the bill for this year’s Relentless Boardmasters: guitar-bothering dredlocked star Newton Faulkner and everyone’s favourite hobo and MOJO award winning artist, Seasick Steve.
Seasick Steve played one of the Boardmasters Beach sessions down at Fistral Beach in 2007 but this year returns to play the main stage up at the Watergate Bay site of the festival on Friday 6 August. The blues man has been wowing crowds at festivals all over the world for some time now and has sold out shows across the UK, including a prestigious date at London’s Albert Hall
Newton Faulkner is no stranger to Cornwall, having enjoyed a fair bit of success with shows in the county before the rest of the country caught on. The virtuoso musician has also played at Boardmasters before, and this year will return to close the festival on the Friday, and will no doubt give the crowds a top notch high energy performance, in true Boardmasters style.
