Attention all Moto Cross fans – Organisers have taken the tough decision to postpone the Red Bull Pro Nationals event, due to take place at Landrake, Cornwall on 3/4 April, due to the recent bad weather in Cornwall. It’s not that the riders will not be able to cope with the mud but the fact that it will be a logistical nightmare to get everyone in and out of the venue. The long term weather forecast for the coming week isn’t looking much better as MCF chairman Matt Bates explains:
“We’ve put such a huge amount of promotion in to this round of the series, especially with local ITV advertising and mailing out to over 200,000 local homes around Cornwall, but if we can’t even drive vehicles on to the paddock (and we’re not in the business of towing trucks in to fields with tractors) then as a group we’re not willing to let everyone take a gamble on their expense and then potentially cancel on the day”.

The second round of the Red Bull Pro Nationals is now rescheduled for the end of the month on the 24/25 April at the same location to give the chance for the venue to dry out. Well worth checking out, expect the racing to be full on with plenty of action to keep your attention focused!
