2000 TRESS FESTIVAL SOLD OUT
The 2000trees Festival, which takes place near Cheltenham on 16th and 17th July has sold out of all tickets in record time, delighted organisers announced today. Headline acts Frank Turner and The Subways are among 70 acts set to perform on three stages at the award-winning green festival. There will also be comedy, headphone disco, children’s activities, fine food and drink, trader village, games and campfire singalongs.
Now in its fourth year, 2000trees is an intimate and friendly festival that brings together the very best in new British music with more established acts – offering fans the chance to discover their new favourite band in a picturesque Cotswolds setting. Organiser James Scarlett said: “We are overwhelmed with the support being shown for our fourth year, to sell out with two months to go is fantastic news for everyone involved and reflects the loyal following we’ve built up from the previous three years. “We believe 2000trees is special because we are music fans first and foremost, so we aim to create a fun, friendly and affordable festival that focuses on the best new British music.”
In its short history 2000trees has established itself as one of the leading small festivals in the British summer calendar. Created by a group of friends in 2007, the festival was born out of frustration with the ever increasing corporate sponsorship and mass advertising nature of the larger traditional British festivals.
