The Cornwall Film Festival are holding two fundraising screenings of the sensational The Girl Who Played with Fire, the much-anticipated sequel to The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, which had its South West Premiere to a packed audience at the Cornwall Film Festival in 2009.

A representative of the Cornwall Film Festival will introduce the screenings, which take place at 5pm on Sunday 5th September at the Royal Cinema in St Ives and the Phoenix Cinema in Falmouth. A charity auction will precede the screening at the Phoenix at 4:45pm – items will include a wine-tasting dinner for six.

Thanks to support from Merlin Cinemas and Momentum Pictures, proceeds from the ticket sales at these special screenings will be donated to this year’s Cornwall Film Festival, which takes place 5-7 November at the Phoenix Cinema in Falmouth. The trilogy finale, The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets’ Nest, will be screened in preview during the Festival.

Tickets are on sale now from the Merlin box offices at Phoenix Cinema Falmouth 01326 313072 or Royal St Ives 01736 796843.
