They are quite simply the best doughnuts in the world and now, America’s Krispy Kreme has opened a new store in Bristol’s Cabot Circus.
What’s more, they are about to launch a winter warmer selection of sweet treats – available from 13th September until the end of January.
The opening of the Cabot Circus store last month followed the successful opening of a Hotlight store at Avon Meads retail park in July.
You may have seen scores of shoppers walking around with boxes of the delicious treats and that’s because the generous folk at Krispy Kreme were handing out samples to Bristolians and visitors.
Krispy Kreme launched in the UK in Harrods, 2003 amidst bustling queues and excited fans. Its stores and fresh shops offer 16 delicious doughnut varieties including chocolate filled, sprinkled and powdered and of course the best selling signature doughnut – Original Glazed. The full Krispy Kreme range is made fresh daily at the Avon Meads store, with the chance to try an Original Glazed hot off the line whenever the neon “Hotlight” sign is lit – an experience not to be missed! And it wasn’t missed by many judging by the 160-strong queue on the opening day. The Cabot Circus store receives the same fresh donuts direst from the nearby Avon Meads store (as well as having some doughnut stock onsite) and has proved just as popular.
The winter warmer range includes a Butterscotch Fudge doughnut and a Cookies and Kreme cake.
It costs £9.95 for a dozen doughnuts and could prove to be the tastiest tenner you’ve ever spent.
