PRO JUNIOR SURF CONTEST THIS WEEKEND
All preperations are set for this weekend’s Oakley XPY Pro Junior at North Fistral Beach, Newquay. The XPY Bus is all set to go, a top-notch judging panel, good weather and fun surfing conditions, its going to be a great weekend! The 2010 Judging Panel will consist of 2 ASP Europe Judges alongside the highest caliber of judges from the UK! They are to be situated on top of the bus for maximum viewing potential, just like the world ranked events.
This year’s event has a £3,250 prize purse, the biggest ever for a junior event in the UK! The increase in money prizes will not only impact the Pro Junior category, there will also be an increase in prize money across all 4 age categories, including Under 16’s, Under 16’s Girls & Under 12’s Open divisions. Alongside prize money, Matt Adams Surfboards have donated a brand new surfboard to the highest rated un-sponsored surfer!
