BRISFEST THIS WEEKEND
Taking place on Fri 24, Sat 25 & Sun 26 Sept in Bristol city centre and the Harbourside, Brisfest is the cities biggest urban community festival, filling the hole left by the former Ashton Court Festival which ended a few years ago. The Bristol Festival is a cutting edge community showcase of local talent, designed to inspire passion and creativity. A three day urban spectacular that brings the excitement of a summer festival to the heart of Bristol.
The main outdoor hub of BrisFest activities including live stages, festival tents, food stalls, art installations, light shows, dance classes, street theatre, kids areas and more will be held in Lloyd’s Amphitheatre in the city centre, followed by an almighty afterparty – Rave on Avon, spread throughout 12 venues across the centre.
Over 500 bands, DJs, comedians, cabaret and circus performances as well as poetry, street art, dancers and a whole host of free workshops wil be taking place over the three days, music artists include…
