Musician Peter Doherty has launched a new jewellery line in collaboration with luxury jeweller Hannah Martin.
Borne from a longing to re‐introduce the days when every man had a piece of jewellery to wear with his Sunday best, Doherty, who lives in Wiltshire, is pleased to announce of Albion Trinketry.
And this collaborative collection with definitive British luxury jewellery designer Hannah Martin is the first line to go under the Albion Trinketry brand.
Inspired by Doherty’s obsession with antiques and trinkets, Hannah’s interpretation of the former Libertines singer’s ideas and her bespoke approach to design has ensured a collection that is both original and timeless. According to the promo material, each piece has a sense of regency and history yet also modernity, reflecting the past whilst also giving a nod to the future and encapsulate modern luxury. Their aim during the design process was to create collectables that will last the test of time and be handed down through the generations. This 15‐piece collection, consisting of cufflinks, rings, pins, chains for the neck and watch, can be adapted and interlinked reflecting Doherty’s signature style of personalising his antique finds. Two hand‐carved designs of a graduated disk and military‐inspired cross feature throughout the range that is to be made with oxidised silver, rose gold, mammoth tusk and black diamonds.
The collection will be retailing in the luxury market with bespoke commissions available on request.
