Premiered on Vevo last night, the new video for The National’s latest single ‘Terrible Love’ can now be viewed online HERE.
Filmed and directed by Tom Berninger, the video was shot both onstage and backstage at various live shows over the summer.
Capturing the intensity, humour and unique chemistry of The National, ‘Terrible Love’ shines as an astonishing track by this remarkable band. The track itself is an alternate version of the original found on the Brooklyn quintet’s fifth studio album
High Violet.
‘Terrible Love’ will be released as a violet-coloured 7″ and download single on Monday November 22. Both the alternate version of ‘Terrible Love’ and B-side ‘You Were A Kindness’ also feature on the expanded edition of High Violet released the same day.
The band will then embark on a sell out UK
tour, which kicks off in Bristol on November 24, before heading to Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, Belgium, Holland, Poland, Germany, Sweden, Finland and Portugal in the New Year.
