MORE RECORD SHOPS TO CLOSE IN SOUTH WEST
In an ever spiraling and depressing state of affairs, two more records shops are closing down in Bath and Bristol. Drop Records in Bath and Rooted Records on Gloucester Rd, Bristol are both shutting up shop in the next few weeks due to lack of support. In a classic case of use it or lose it, it seems a combination of MP3 downloads and online stores are taking more and more business away from traditional shops, as well as the ongoing recession adding to the pressure too.
