MORE ACTS CONFIRMED FOR END OF THE ROAD FESTIVAL 2011, INCLUDING BEIRUIT

Beirut, whose new album will be released this year, will appear as a headliner at the End of the Road Festival, it has been revealed. They’re one of nine acts announced today and will join an excellent line up of bands at the 5,000 capacity festival, which takes place at the Larmer Tree Gardens on the Wiltshire/Dorset border on September 2-4. Other acts added to the line up are Cass McCombs, Gruff Rhys (our February cover star), James Yorkston, Joan As Policewoman, Perfume Genius, Timber Timbre, tUnE-yArDs and Wooden Shjips. They join an already indecently good lineup for the 6th edition of the festival, which includes a UK festival exclusive from Midlake – plus appearances from The Fall, Wild Beasts, The Walkmen, Willy Mason and former Czars singer John Grant as well as Dry The River, Josh T Pearson and Micah P Hinson.
