247 FEB – SOUTH WEST
We’re back! After a much deserved break and we’re all refreshed and looking forward to the year ahead. There’s been a bit of a gig lull recently but we’re pleased to see things are picking up this month with a bonanza of live music across the region. We’ve cherry-picked some of the highlights to wet your appetite including the uber-energetic The Go Team, guitar hero Andy McKee and Murderdolls. Our Introducing section features Plymouth band The Damerels and we also meet the Littlesouth DJ of the Year Competition winners.
Without wanting to overdo the whole Valentine’s Day thing we couldn’t let the month pass without at least a sniff of love so we’ve sprinkled a bit of pink onto the Contents pages with this wonderful illustration. Our retail page also showcases some of the coolest, loosely themed Valentine’s kit around and the fashion shoot – see for yourselves it’s hot to trot and just the right side of kinky thanks to an excellent performance from Miss Malice!
Competitions wise we’ve bagged tickets to one of the first festivals of the season, the Southport Weekender, which has moved from it’s North West location to Butlins in Minehead, Somerset. We’re also giving away a copy of the most intriguing sequel ever – Titanic 2.
