The publishers of 247 Magazine, have an excellent opportunity for a dynamic candidate to join Out of Hand Ltd at the Head Office in Bristol as our Print Estimator.

The company is an established, fast paced, print and design agency and publishing house with linked manufacturing facilities. The role involves liaising with clients, gathering supplier estimates, examining costs, issuing written quotations to clients and following up sales opportunities appropriately. Also the opportunity to account handle larger litho based purchases through the company from order to delivery.

You will work extensively with the Sales / Customer Service and Production departments, ensuring that accurate prices are issued to clients to deadline, whilst building positive two way relationships with suppliers. This will be using a Brightblue estimating system and an MIS system called Exchequer, full training will be given however previous experience of similar systems would be advantageous. Acting as a print expert and consultant for our internal departments a full understanding of all print processes and materials is required and an understanding of where the cost and quality opportunities lie within these processes. Existing supplier knowledge and contacts would be of benefit but not essential.

The ideal candidate will possess previous experience within the print & graphics industries, working knowledge of print, repro and finishing processes (key area being sheet fed litho), purchasing and negotiation skills, proven clear communication and presentation skills (written and verbal), project management, confidence with job costing, and a drive for success.

This is a full time vacancy, Monday to Friday 9.30am-6pm.
