First held in 2006, Farmfestival has rapidly become an important, exciting and influential music festival, held on an Organic Farm with stunning views near Bruton, Somerset, from July 29-31; the aim is to promote and support the best local and national acts, to give tremendous value for money and to raise money for the charities ‘Practical Action’ and Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance’. This year there will be 3 live stages, 2 dance tents, a children’s tent, and lots of activities for everyone. Most of the food is organic, provided by Somerset Organics, even the cider; made from a community orchard from a local village. This year’s line up includes Dodgy, Fiction, Man Like Me, Doyle and the Fourfathers, Pope Joan, The Fan Jets, The Matador, Cheap Cuts, The Standards, Matt Winkleworth, Real Fur, Black Circles, Size9, Jesus Kenevil, Presuming Ed and Islington Boys Club as well as local bands The Joe Public, The Inbredz, Josh Thorner, Damages, b.e_cooling, The Singletones, Billy in the Low Ground, Shaun Rimmer and The Search Party. DJ’s taking the party into the night include from On The Roof and Pardon my French. Tickets cost just £35 from www.farmfestival.co.uk
