The Barn Club, Penzance opened its doors for the first time in almost a year on Saturday 26 March as hundreds of people from across West Cornwall took the opportunity to be one of the first into the new venue.

After undergoing a major refurbishment, which included additional seating areas, waitress served pre-bookable booths, a new lighting and sound system and a completely fresh look in all of the three rooms, managers at the Barn Club said they were delighted with the response.

“It’s been many months in the planning with so much more to do, but we were absolutely delighted to get the new Barn Club open. There had been so much anticipation from people across Penzance and West Cornwall that we were hoping for a great turnout on Saturday, but even we were overwhelmed at just how popular opening night was, with people queuing way before doors were open to ensure they
didn’t miss out,” said Barn Club manager David George.

“We have really focused on trying to create a new venue for the area that offers something different to other clubs, with features such as the pre-bookable booths with waitress service, fast pay pass and the introduction of menu that includes Tapas and Tex Mex dishes and the feedback was really positive.

The Barn Club will initially be opening on Tuesday’s between 10pm and 2am, and Friday and Saturday’s from 10pm to 3am with the B-Bar (formerly the Star Bar) open between 8pm and 10pm.
