The world’s biggest touring festival, Sonisphere, stops off in the UK (Knebworth, Hertfordshire) on July 8 – 10 and will see thousands of rock/metal fans partying hard to the likes of Motorhead and Weezer (their only UK festival performance of the summer apparently). Headlining Sonisphere are the Big Four – Metallica, Anthrax, Slayer and Megadeth. Newer acts include Gallows, Architects, Mars Volta (ex At The Drive In) and INME. Bath comedian Bill Bailey will also play a comedy gig at the festival. If you’ve seen him before, you’ll know he incorporates a lot of music in this with some hilarious results.
