The Big Beat Reunion takes place at Motion, Bristol, on April 30th. With over 35 acts, DJs and local artists the event is going to be huge. What’s more it looks set to raise a heap of money for the Warchild charity. Organised by Rocstar Events (Cut La Roc) and The Drop the night will bring together some of the best Big Beat and Old Skool Breaks to Nu-Skool Breaks, Electro, Dubstep and DnB. It will be the first event to use Motion’s new warehouse and will up the capacity to almost 2,500. Clothing company Rooda, Bristol favourites – Dirty Old Town and Dubs.Tek, will all have a room to show off their various genres and excellent live artwork. The line up is bringing back old faces from the scene such as legend Jon Carter and Hardnox (Lindy Layton from Beats International) as well as commercial favourites like The Freestylers and Elite Force. The night will see a massive influx of people from around the world coming to the event from the likes of Spain and the rest of the continent, Eastern Europe & Russia and even the USA. As such it is really is an event that will be worldwide rather than just hitting the southwest. On the night, there will be artwork, signed posters and clothing giveaways as well as extra stock on sale. Alongside this, there will be fairground rides, fire jugglers and a couple of big surprises that we can’t release yet.
