PROFESSOR GREEN TO PLAY NEWPORT, SOUTH WALES
Professor Green is heading to Newport, South Wales, with a hoard of top names for a one off August Bank Holiday event. He will be joined, at the Newport Centre, by Lethal Bizzle, Bashy and human beat box The Pete Box on Friday August 26.
Professor Green stormed to the top of the charts last year with his No.1 single “I Need You Tonight”, featuring Lily Allen, and has since enjoyed a string of top 5 hits including “Monster”, “Jungle” and a No 1 album “Alive Till I’m Dead”. Chart-topping grime rapper Lethal Bizzle, most well-known for his smash “POW”, has a huge fan base and is currently enjoying high riding success in the charts with his new single “Mind Spinning”. Bashy (Kidulthood/Adulthood soundtracks) and human beatbox sensation The Pete Box will also be performing, plus the latest up and coming stars of 2012 in the form of male trio Encore, who are riding high on their recent track Tit for Tat, Ruff Diamonds, a London-based female trio, and Nate Young who is tipped to be the next big thing, plus a very special appearance from DMC Champion DJ IQ.
