THE LOSTPROPHETS AND BLOC PARTY TO DJ JUBILEE SESSIONS IN PENZANCE
This year’s Jubilee Sessions in Penzance will feature DJ sets from indie stars Bloc Party and Welsh rockers The Lostprophets. The Lostprophets will open the Jubilee Sessions on Saturday August 6, with Bloc Party going at it on the August Bank Holiday on Saturday 27.
Cornwall’s Coolest, the official online media sponsor of the event, says it is in close talks with the organisers at the Zero Lounge in Penzance who say they are talking to several “huge acts” to fit the remaining two slots on September 9 and 10. Nigel Pengelly, Dante Gabriel, Ollie Stratton of Freerange DJs and Ry Spenceley of Love Riot have already confirmed they will be warming up the two mentioned headliners sessions, for what looks like being the scene for the most amazing pool party Cornwall has ever seen.
A series of Events hosted in the world famous Jubilee Pool in Penzance and organised by The Zero Lounge in Penzance, who have previously brought you OceanDaze and SuperStock events in Cornwall.
