After years of traveling and living the high life I’ve finally settled in Cornwall and my eyes have been opened to what a great club scene there is here, having spent many a night stuck in a massive club with thousands of sweaty people it has made me realise how great the club nights are down here. This here was another great night. I went to Sound Penzance, only half a mile away from where I live, to see great music from Tony Vegas from the Scartch Perverts. He played a great dubstep set. You start to look at the line ups this club get week in week out and I’m thinking why have I spent so much money going to London and further afield when the best nights are on my doorstep. And the atmosphere is always second to none. Limited numbers of people makes for maximum effect you really fill a part of things. The night was a great one, such as pleasure to be in my local club with one of the world’s best DJs playing, friends close by and knowing its only going take a £5 taxi to get home. The prices of drinks at £2 (where else can you get that?) and only a £5 to get in makes the night even more a positive in my eyes. All in all, I’d say this was another top night spent on the Cornwall Club scene and you have to credit the people that run Sound for making it what it is, local friendly club, amazing sounds that just makes you want to go back for more and with the next months line up they have I’m sure ill be on the dancefloor for next few weeks.
