Next weekend sees another installment of the awesome In:Motion series at Motion, Bristol.
Bristol Blowpop takes over on the Friday night (October 21) with a set from the world famous DJ Yoda. Other live performances come from Ugly Duckling, who we interviewed in this month’s South West magazine, from Krafty Kuts and more. DJ wise we have London based production and DJ duo Plump DJs Lee Rous and Andy Gardner will be joining, whose energetic, quirky productions and skilful, pounding DJ sets have acquired a loyal and admiring fan base the world over; and a stellar line up of other talent, including Danny Daze, Ghettospheric and Western Soul.
The following night, (Saturday 22 October) is all about the London-based FWD: Rinse, which is bringing Xinc, Plastician and Ez to Bristol. Having produced some of the scene’s biggest anthems, most notably ‘Super Sharp Shooter’ and the remix of the Fugees’ ‘Ready Or Not’, DJ Zinc is renowned for an exhilarating clash of breakbeats, bass-lines and samples that defined a generation of UK clubbing. FWD resident and Rinse FM veteran Plastician will be joining the party, alongside a feast full of others…London hits Bristol FFWD frontal.
