Volcom in Falmouth is taking part in the Give Jeans A Chance initiative which helps homeless people. Customers are being urged to drop their old jeans into the Falmouth store between now and December 15 to receive a free Volcom cap, CD or DVD (while stocks last). The jeans will be redistributed to people who need them, thanks to the distribution channels of the Whitechapel Homeless Mission. About GJAC

A spokesman for Volcom said: “Give Jeans a chance is a part of Volcom’s Give Back Series, where we aim to raise both awareness and funds or products for people-based causes in select communities. In it’s 3rd consecutive year, the Give Jeans a Chance program is in partnership with the National Coalition for the Homeless and raises awareness around homelessness and collects jeans for those in the homeless community. Each year, we have expanded the program and each year, we have raised our expectations. With the help of partnering retailers, community leaders, and our global Volcom family, we are expecting to collect 50,000 pairs of jeans, worldwide for the 2011-12 campaign.”
