The awesome In:Motion series continues at Motion, Bristol, this weekend (Friday November 25) with the BLOC crew and we’re giving away a pair of tickets worth over £30.
Over the last few years, The BLOC Weekend annual festival at Butlins in Minehead has become a compulsory destination for electronic music fans and now the masterminds behind it are bringing their kick ass party power to Bristol. No other UK festival so vigorously and variously reaps the vanguard of underground dance music past and present quite like they do. Last year they invited down dirty bird Claude Vonstroke and Andrew Weather to fill Motion’s Tunnel, with his unique and compelling musical selection. Destined to better themselves from last year, they bring dubstep prodigy Joker, hot off the heels of releasing his album ‘The Vision’ as well as Martyn, Border Community’s Nathan Fake and James Holden , for a festival sized line-up in an inner city club.
Acts confirmed for the night include local favourite Joker, Martyn, 2562, Illum Sphere and Gemmy. Also playing the three-room skatepark is Crazy D, Koast, C-Strike-Z, James Holden, Nathan Fake, Fairmont and Luke Abbot. Regular BLOC DJs taking to the decks include Jo Hart, Al-Tourettes, Placid, Rubin and special guest Luke Vibert.
