The Cure and Radiohead will headline this year’s Bilbao BBK Live festival in Spain and will be joined by the likes of Noah and the Whale, Warpaint, Glasvegas and The Kooks as well as Mumford & Sons, The Maccabees, Garbage, Bloc Party, Enter Shikari, Four Tet, Young Guns, Pure Love, Ben Howard, The Jon Spencer Blues Band Explosion, Here We Go Magic and local talent Zea Mays.

Due to take place from the 12 to 14 July in the northern Spanish city of Bilbao, this is one festival worth trekking abroad for. Bilbao BBK Live festival is held on top of a hill surrounded by mountains offering spectacular views over the city of Bilbao. The privileged location of the site, its proximity to the city and beach, and a late start of bands, allows festival goers to make the most of the experience. Bilbao, a modern city famous for its architecture, museums and gastronomy is just a stone’s throw away from the beach and some of the best waves in Europe.
