Wychwood Festival, which takes place at Cheltenham Racecourse from June 8-10, returns for its ninth year celebrating the best in folk and world music and combining a rich programme to entertain families, adults, children and festival revellers alike – and we’re giving away a pair of weekend tickets to one lucky reader!

This year sees acts such as legendary British rockers James, punk superstars The Damned, amazing live folk performers Bellowhead, and 80’s sensation Doctor’s & The Medics, ‘wow’ audiences with performances of their hits. The line-up also boasts performances from The Cuban Brothers, Francois & The Atlas Mountains, Duke Special, Dodgy plus much more. Howard Marks will also be on hand to entertain with his fascinating anecdotes, whilst the Headphone Disco tops off each evening playing classic and favourite hits from the last five decades.

Much more than just a music festival, Wychwood leads the way for family celebration in the UK with innovative programming designed to entertain children and parents alike. Since launching in 2003, it has become one of the most successful independent arts events in the UK and has been nominated in the ‘Best Family Festival’ category every year at the UK Festival Awards.

Interactive workshops such as Roald Dahl’s story centre, art exhibitions, The Cheltenham Poetry Festival, and eFestival’s comedy club are just some of the entertainment that will ensure revellers have a wonderfully memorable festival encounter. Additionally the dedicated BBC Introducing Stage is a hotspot of burgeoning talent with three days filled with new acts tipped for national success making the Wychwood experience even more enticing.
