LINE-UP REVEALED FOR CREATION FEST 2012 IN CORNWALL
For its 10th anniversary, Creation Fest 2012 has secured Dove and Grammy nominated artist, Leeland, as one of their main stage guests.
Leeland has become one of the most important voices in a new generation of worship music. After their breakthrough album in 2006 entitled Sound of Melodies, they have successfully launched it with three additional albums; Opposite Way (2008), Love is On the Move (2009), and The Great Awakening (2011). Impressively, they have been nominated for several Grammy and GMA Dove Awards including Best Contemporary Christian Album, New Artist of the Year, and Song of the Year. Their journey to the heart of God has caused a great awakening amongst worshippers alike.
With appearances in The Big Shed on Monday 6 August as well as a special appearance in The Zone for a Meet the Band session, Leeland is highly anticipated by fans of all ages and backgrounds.
Creation Fest 2012 is a groundbreaking event with free admission. It will take place at Wadebridge’s Royal Cornwall Showground from 4-10 August 2012. In addition to great bands and solid teaching, Creation Fest 2012 also offers a youth venue, The Zone, where young people ages of 12-19 can come for Bible teaching, worship seminars, and daily workshops, as well as Creation Kids, a place for the under 12’s to enjoy music, games, crafts, and various activities.
There will be a full programme of sports throughout Creation Fest, including football, rugby, frisbee, basketball, rounders and more. Lastly, partnering with More Than Gold, Creation Fest will provide a dedicated venue where the Olympic games will be aired to watch at anyone’s leisure. The best of Bible teaching, music and sports will come together for one great week. Also new to the festival is pro skater Zac Archuleta, from Huntington Beach, CA, has just confirmed to the lineup. Zac clicked with crowds during his first appearance four years ago, and is a favourite at the skate park with his engaging personality and all-out skateboarding style.
