EXTREME SAILING EVENT HITS CARDIFF BAY THIS SUMMER
The Extreme Sailing Series is heading to Cardiff as part of the annual Cardiff Festival 2012.
The unique concept, highlighting some of the very best professional sailing teams in the world against potential champions, on mind numbing, tactical courses and provide’s spectacular, entertainment for VIPs and the public alike. The event will be free of charge and have a purpose built race village centralised within Cardiff Bay.
This event showcases top professional sailors including 21 Olympians, 36 America’s Cup campaigns, 7 global circumnavigations and 47 World Championship wins. – each boat is uniquely designed with a ‘guest sailor’ spot – meaning a non-professional can actually join a team and compete on the same playing field as their idols!
