CLIC Sargent, the UK’s leading cancer charity for children and young people are giving you the opportunity to share Santa’s rooftop view of Bristol this December by joining their Jingle Bell Drop challenge!

They are looking for brave souls to take on this staggering 200ft abseil challenge off the Premier Inn, right in the centre of Bristol. What better way to plunge yourself into the Christmas spirit! Individual or teams of Santas, reindeers, elves, angels are all welcome to make this a truly festive occasion!

CLIC Sargent’s Spring Leap Abseil held earlier this year in Bristol raised an amazing £20,000 and they are hoping to raise even more from this Christmas abseil. So, why not join them and help make a real difference to the lives of children with cancer like those currently being treated at Bristol Children’s Hospital.

At Bristol Children’s Hospital CLIC Sargent fund Nurses and Social Workers who provide families going through a traumatic cancer journey with clinical, practical and emotional support, both on the wards and in their homes. They also provide families with free accommodation at Sam’s House and CLIC House in Bristol, where families can stay within walking distance of the hospital whilst their child is in treatment, to keep the whole family together through a very difficult time.

Why not get involved and give a great gift this Christmas – help to support vital services like these locally for children and young people with cancer.

No experience or skills in abseiling are required as you will be in the hands of experienced instructors and full training will be provided on the day. Participants must be over 16 and those under 18 will require parental consent to take part.

To secure your place there is a £15 (non-refundable) deposit per person and a pledge to raise a minimum of £150 in sponsorship per person. Anyone who raises £200 or more in sponsorship will receive a free CLIC Sargent tshirt, and there will be a prize on offer for the top fundraiser overall.
