EARLYBIRD TICKETS NOW ON SALE FOR CARDIFF SWN FESTIVAL 2012

Earlybird tickets are now on sale for the famous Sŵn Festival 2012, which takes place from October 18-21.

Since 2007 Cardiff has played host to the annual festival, bringing some of the newest and most exciting local, national and international acts to the Welsh capital. Whilst still focusing on new and emerging acts, Sŵn Festival 2012 will also play host to some well established headline acts, as well as broadening the programme to include arts-based fringe events.

Latest acts joining the bill include Casual Sex, Echo Lake, Fossil Collective, Hawk Eyes, KWES, Portasound, Pulled Apart By Horses, Tall Ships, The Staves, Toy, Two Wounded Birds, We Were Evergreen, Without Maps, Y Bandana and more.

They join the likes of Charlotte Church, Django Django (late show), Gallows, Milk Maid, The Lovely Eggs, Bo Ningen, Katell Keineg, Lanterns On The Lake, Liars, Errors, Fist Of The First Man, Gallops, Islet, John Grant, No Ceremony, Paper Aeroplanes, Portasound, Scritti Politti, This Many Boyfriends, Turbowolf, Arcane Roots, Dry The River, Fossil Collective, Hawk Eyes, Hysterical Injury, Joanna Gruesome, Micachu & The Shapes, Rozi Plain, Various Cruelties and more.

New venues just added include Cardiff Students’ Union’s CF10, Bacchus (formerly Cardiff Arts Institute) and Castle Arms (Angel Hotel). Existing venues for Swn include Clwb Ifor Bach, 10 Feet Tall and Gwidhw.

A full 4-day Earlybird wristband costs £60 and single day Earlybird wristbands vary between £15 and £26, depending on the day. Tickets can be purchased via www.swnpresents.com and Spillers Records (Morgan Arcade, Cardiff).

Additionally this year, Sŵn Festival will be offering a 10% discount on advance tickets to those who are Unemployed, Students or NHS Staff at the time of their ticket purchase. These will only be available online at www.swnpresents.com
